Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is currently hosting APC governors to a Ramadan iftar (dinner) at the Aso Villa, with the intent of seeking their support for his presidential ambition ahead of next month’s APC Presidential primary.

Sources at the Presidential Villa who spoke with PUNCH stated that the VP is now going to reveal his intention to run for President after so much perceived delay.
“The Iftar dinner being hosted by the VP is just commencing. APC governors, especially those from the North, are already gathered. The VP is now going to reveal his intention to run for President. He will then make it public to all Nigerians,” the source at the Villa said.
If Professor Yemi Osinbajo declares his presidentail ambition, he will join Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Yahaya Bello and Rotimi Amaechi among others to vie for the APC presidential ticket.
