Two policemen have been killed as gunmen launched a fresh attack on security checkpoints in Enugu State.
The attack happened before 12.00pm on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at a police checkpoint between Kenyatta Market and the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC) Stadium.
A source hinted that the policemen, who were on stop and search, were caught unawares.

A viral video trending on social media shows two of the officers lying in a pool of their blood inside gutters.
The Enugu Police Command is yet to issue any statement on the incident.
