Alex, 29, explained the details of how she made such a huge money from writing as a freelancer. Featuring on CNBC, Alex stated that she made her first six figures at the age of 25 through fiverr. Her earning accumulated to around $300,000 in revenue writing blogs, press releases and website content for clients.
She narrated that now that she is 29 years old, she has six streams of income — from freelance writing, influencer sponsorships, eBook sales, course sales, ad revenue and affiliate revenue. As at 2021, she has brought in a little over $400,000 (N165,800,000) in net income.
Speaking in a video uploaded by CNBC on tiktok, Alex explained to the world three tips they can follow to replicate her success in the freelancing field.
Her number one tip stated that you should have at least three samples of your previous works in your portfolio. Portfolios are used by freelancers to showcase their skillset and the projects they have carried out during their years of service.
Number two: Try out more than one marketplace some options includes Fiverr, Upwork, Linkedin, Contra, Legiit, Toptal, Freelancer and so on.
Number three: Don’t forget about imagery, you should invest in taking professional photos and spend a little extra time editing your service covers.
Alex who spoke further revealed that she own three properties in her home state of Florida. Combined, they’re worth close to $1.2 million. She also explained some of the things she will not spend her money on.
New designer clothes and handbags, Unsubsidized flights, RentDrinks after 8 p.m, and Uber trips that are less than three miles away are some of the things she mentioned.
