MC Oluomo celebrates as his son bags double major with perfect 4.0 CGPA from US university

The Chairman, Lagos State Parks and Garages Management, Musiliu Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo has celebrated his son Ololade, for bagging a double major with a remarkable 4.0 CGPA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US. 

MC Oluomo who couldn’t keep the joy to himself shared a picture of his son’s graduation and penned the note on his Instagram page on Tuesday night.

According to him, his son studied Chemical Engineering and Business Management at the institution and graduated with a perfect 4.0 CGPA.

He said, “Today, I celebrate my son, Ololade Abdulai Akinsanya. He has graduated from MIT, one of the highest-ranked universities globally, with a double major in Chemical Engineering and Business Management, maintaining a remarkable 4.0 GPA.

“His exceptional dedication was recognised and awarded by both the Engineering and Business departments as he was the student who demonstrated the highest level of effort and achievement in coursework, leadership, and professional activities. Congratulations, my son.”


This comes days after Popular Fuji musician Wasiu Alabi Pasuma’s son, Jibola, made his parents proud after emerging best-graduating student with a 4.20 GPA from a high school, Harlan Community Academy, in the United States.

The amazing feat earned him earned him a scholarship money of over $400k (N198,483,000million), and acceptance into over twenty universities of choice.

The young boy showered appreciation to his parents and siblings for helping him through school to shine bright.

He shared pictures from the graduation ceremony on his Instagram account on Friday and wrote, “#1 Valedictorian, mission accomplished 💪🏾.Graduation day ❤️.Glory be to God. Big graduate 👨‍🎓 Unto the Next🙏”

He wrote “Finally!!!! Moving on to the next step of success. I’m thankful to God, My mom, My dad, my sister, and everyone for helping me along the way. I’ve received over $400k in scholarship money and over five full rides and got into over 20 schools.

“I’m ranked #1 in the school and I’m the Valedictorian with a 4.20 GPA. Committed to UIC HONORS COLLEGE Alhamdulilah …Unto the next step…Forever going up.”

His father, Pasuma has been actively singing since the late 1980s but released his official first music album in 1993.

He has since then released over 30 albums, going on to become one of the most successful Fuji musicians in Nigeria.
