There was wild jubilation on Thursday night, May 25, 2023, as President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, among other dignitaries, appeared at the Renewed Hope Concert stage.
The ‘Renewed Hope Concert’ which was held at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja was aimed at celebrating the inauguration of Tinubu.
Upon the announcement of his arrival, Tinubu, who alongside Shettima wore fez caps, waved his right hand to the cheering crowd of supporters who appeared thrilled by his arrival.

The energetic youths in a now-viral video were heard chanting leader! leader!! leader!!! as the emcee announced Tinubu’s arrival. They subsequently sang his popular solidarity song which goes; “On your mandate we shall stand, on your mandate we shall stand, Bola on your mandate, Bola on your mandate, we shall stand.”
Other dignitaries include The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, among others.

Many Nigerian celebrities like Eniola Badmus, Seyi Law, Umar Sheriff, Wande Coal, Naira Marley amongst others were present at the concert.
The event comes shortly after Tinubu and Shettima were conferred with Grand Commander of the Federal Republic and Grand Commander of the Order of Niger honours respectively in Abuja on Thursday.
Meanwhile, ahead of the May 29 inauguration, Tinubu has highlighted the key ministries that he will give priority to as he promised not to disappoint Nigerians.
While thanking President Muhammadu Buhari for being courageous, Tinubu assured that he will run the race well. He as well vowed to ensure headway on security, economy, agriculture, jobs, education, health, and power and in all other sectors in the country.
