The beautiful handwriting of President Muhammadu Buhari has sparked a lot of reactions from Nigerians on social media with many describing his writing to be as too perfect.
President Buhari wrote a handwritten short note while commissioning Dangote Fertilizer Plant at Ibeju Lekki on Tuesday March 22, 2022.
The image of President Buhari’s short note was shared online by Joe Igbokwe, an aide to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, shortly after the President commissioned the fertilizer plant.
President Buhari wrote the note after the tape cutting ceremony of the multi-billion dollars project which will unarguably act as a catalyst for Nigeria’s economic boom.
In his message which was clearly and beautifully written, he said: “The Dangote Fertilizer Plant I just commissioned is consistent with the effort made by our administration to transform the lives of the farmers, increase their income and save the country precious foreign exchange”
“This event in Ibeju Lekki today is a proof of the fact that nothing is impossible for Nigeria with visionary and enterprising citizens like Aliko Dangote.”

Nigerians who were amazed by the President’s beautiful handwriting took to their social media handles to express their reactions with varying concerns.
While some were confident the the note was written by the President, some others argued that the President could not have such a beautiful handwriting. See some reactions below:
Henry Owoyemi wrote: “In those days we do handwriting as a subject, I don’t know whether the children are still doing it now in schools. Before you rise to become a general in the army, you must have gone through several trainings and passed several courses that is equivalent to master degrees if not PhD , so do not think your president is educated illiterate likes some of you. There are saboteurs in every sectors of the economy in this country just to make sure the president failed, especially from the opposition , when you want to criticise, do it objectively and provide an alternative to whatever programme(s) of government, then in the next election people will know you are capable of running the government better, when voted to power but not by running down and sabotage every efforts of the present government just because you want power at all cost.”
Solomon O. Emmanuel: “How sure are we that he’s the one that wrote it? Someone else might have written and him will used pen demonstrating as if he was actually writing ✍️ it. Aboki with zero handwriting”
Ken Onukwuli: “He’s not really an illiterate as some people presume! Go and watch some of his old interviews and see how well he speaks English language though his mother tongue is strong but he speaks good English language.”
