BREAKING NEWS

The poster of the former IGP vying for a senatorial position have stirred mixed reactions amongst Nigerians on social media.

While many questioned if the former police chief was a card-carrying APC member while in office for it to be easy for him to be showing interest in running for a political post barely three months after his retirement. Others said he is no more in active service and since he is a Nigerian, there is no crime in seeking a political position.

@Timiglow said; “If Nigerians don’t come against all forms of criminal gangs of APC and destroyed its entity, APC will buried that country finally with countless corruptions and consequential failures.”

@aai_austin wrote; “Just retired not up to 3 months and he’s running under APC already?”

chriswolex wrote: “That is the main problem of this country, cos all institutions that needs to be independent are political afflicted.”

@salishfman said; “So is it a crime for an ex officer (rtd) to join politics. This isn’t news at all.”
