Even though the world still battles with Coronavirus, another deadly virus has emerged from China, Orthohantavirus popularly referred to as Hantavirus.
Global Times on Monday disclosed in a report by China’s English tabloid that a individual from Yunnan Province died while on his way back to Shandong Province on a chartered bus for work.
He was tested positive for #hantavirus on Monday and other 32 people on bus were tested.
In a research, An orthohantavirus or Hantaviruses are a family of viruses spread mainly by rodents and can cause varied disease syndromes in people worldwide.
Humans may become infected with Hantavirus if they come in contact with rodent urine, saliva, or faeces.
Early symptoms of the virus include fatigue, fever, and muscle aches, along with headache, dizziness, chills and abdominal problems.
