In a video shared on Tuesday, he was seen taking selfies and participating in singing the club’s anthem.

Chippa United, via their social media handle, celebrated his return with the message, “He’s Back #NwabaliBobo.”

Nwabali performed exceptionally well for Nigeria during the AFCON 2023 finals.

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali kept four clean sheets in the 2023 African Cup of Nation tournament.

He also etched his name in the history book of the Nigeria senior national team as the first goalkeeper to keep four consecutive clean slates in a major tournament.

The former Enyimba goalkeeper received cash gifts, a national honour and was made a chief in his hometown after the competition.

He has been linked with a move away from Chippa United, with Kaizer Chiefs and Union St Gilloise reportedly interested in his services.
