BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo wins Saudi Pro League Player of the Month award

Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Saudi Pro League Player of the Month award for August.

The Portuguese striker was unstoppable this month, finding the net five times and setting up two more goals in three matches.

After failing to score against Al-Taawooun, Ronaldo scored a hat-trick against Al-Fateh and followed it up with a brace against Al-Shabab the following match.

Al-Nassr lost their first two league games of the season, with Ronaldo missing the first due to injury.

They have since rebounded and won their next two games, with the 38-year-old superstar at the forefront of the team’s success, scoring and assisting.

His partnership with Sadio Mane has been crucial to the team’s success thus far this season.

It’s the second time Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Saudi Pro League Player of the Month award.

The first time he won this award was in February when he scored eight goals and made two assists in just four matches.

However, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is yet to comment on winning the Player of the Month award for August.

Al-Nassr will be back in action on September 2, when they face Al-Hazm in the Saudi Pro League.

The team will be looking to continue their recent good form and close the gap at the top of the table.
