The UEFA Player of the Year award is set to honour the outstanding achievements in European football from the previous season.

He won the PFA Player of the Year earlier in the week and now wins this after a sublime first season in England.
Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati has won the UEFA Women’s Player of the Year award after an incredible season for club and country.
Aitana has picked up the Champions League, the Supercopa de Espana Femenina, and Liga F with Barcelona and then lifted the World Cup with Spain in Australia.
The UEFA jury, consisting of respected coaches and journalists chosen by European Sports Media, carefully selected the top three players from the 2022/23 season.
