Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Al-Nassr thrashed Al-Shabab 4-0 in the Saudi Professional League on Tuesday.

The Portuguese maestro was the difference between the two teams, scoring two penalties and setting up several other chances, as his team recorded a second straight victory.

The veteran striker scored twice in the first half, opening the scoring in the 13th minute and then adding a second goal in the 38th minute.

Al-Nassr’s other goals came from Sadio Mane and Sultan Al-Ghannam.

The win moves Al-Nassr up to sixth position in the table, six points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.

Al Nassr have scored nine goals and kept two clean sheets in their last two matches.

Ronaldo has taken his goalscoring form to Saudi Arabia, scoring five goals in his last two matches for Al Nassr.

He scored a hat-trick against Al Fateh in their previous match and followed that up with a brace in today’s match.

Al Shabab were reduced to 10 men when Ever Banega was sent off for a reckless tackle. He is likely to face a ban in the near future.

Al-Nassr will be looking to continue their winning streak when they travel to Ar Rass to face Al-Hazem SC on Saturday at 7:00 PM.

Ronaldo will be hoping to add to his goal tally in the match.
