Full List: 20 Football Teams participating in Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2022-23 Season

The Nigeria Professional Football League is the highest level of the Nigerian football league system, for the Nigerian Club-football Championships.

The 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season will kick off this Sunday with the clash between Akwa United and Bendel Insurance.

The twenty (20) top-flight teams have been distributed into two groups (abridged format), which will end with a Super Six tournament to determine the league winner for this campaign.

The League Management Company (LMC), the defunct organizers of the league, have been replaced by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) led by Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye.
