Iheanacho becomes 4th Nigerian player to win Premier League Player of the month award

Nigerian super striker Kelechi Iheanacho has become the fourth Nigerian player to win the Premier League Player of the month award.

Kelechi Iheanacho has recently displayed a spectacular form in the Leicester’s City shirt scoring 5 goals from 11 shots in March.

His unique form has accorded him the prestigious Player of the month award in the best league in the world.

He becomes the fourth Niegrian player to win the award after Jay-Jay Okocha, Peter Odemwingie and Odion Ighalo.

In his appreciation remarks, Kelechi Ihaenacho thanks his team mates, manager, the club and all his fans around the world.

He wrote: Very happy to be named the EA Sports @premierleague player of the month, March 2021. Thanks to my teammates the manager, staffs and everyone at this awesome club @LCFC and all the fans”
