Man United’s Andre Onana top list of most clean sheets in Premier League 2023/24 season

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana topped the list of most clean sheets in the Premier League 2023/24 season, alongside Nick Pope and Sam Johnstone. 

Three goalkeepers share the top spot in the clean sheet standings following Matchday 13.

Andre Onana secured his fifth clean sheet of the season in Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over Everton in the Premier League last Sunday.

Newcastle’s Nick Pope and Crystal Palace’s Sam Johnstone have both kept five clean sheets in the current season.

Here are list of most clean sheets in the Premier League 2023/24 season

1. Andre Onana (Manchester United)

The Cameroonian goalkeeper has five for the season, recording clean sheets in each of the Red Devils’ last three league matches.

Onana posted shutouts against Wolves on August 15 (1-0), Burnley on September 24 (1-0), Fulham on November 4 (1-0), Luton on November 11 (1-0), and last weekend’s match against Everton.

1. Sam Johnstone (Crystal Palace) 

Johnstone has been sensational for Palace this season, recording five clean sheets from their 13 league matches.

The English goalkeeper posted shutouts in wins against Sheffield United (1-0) and Burnley (2-0) and goalless draws against Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

His most outstanding performance this season came in Palace’s away game against Manchester United, with Johnstone recording a clean sheet at Old Trafford, per Sky Sports.

1. Nick Pope (Newcastle United, 5)

Pope is one of the players who has helped Newcastle United climb into the top half of the Premier League table.

He has five clean sheets for the Magpies this season, including three in a row against Brentford (1-0), Sheffield United (8-0), and Burnley (2-0).

He also had shutout victories over Crystal Palace (4-0) and Arsenal (1-0).
