Nigerian international, Odion Ighalo outshined Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring a brace in Al-Hilal’s 2-0 win over Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

Ighalo scored from the penalty spot in the 42nd and 62nd minutes to dent Ronaldo and his teammates title hopes.

It leaves Al-Ittihad three points clear at the top of the league, having played a game fewer than Al Nassr.

Al-Nassr recently parted ways with manager Rudi Garcia amid reports of dressing room strife, allegedly involving the Portuguese superstar Ronaldo.

Former youth team coach Dinko Jelicic took over as interim manager in his place.

Needing a win away at Al-Hilal to keep pace with the league leaders, they conceded twice from the spot thanks to Ighalo.
