3 ways to browse on your Computer using your Smartphone’s internet

Smartphones have been designed to carry many functionalities making it capable of replacing a Computer system. One of the many capabilities of a Smartphone is its ability to provide Internet facility to various Computer systems.

Since you are here I know you are either looking for ways to browse on your computer with internet from your smartphone or you must have encountered some difficulty while trying to browse on your computer, which may be as a result of your modem not working, your Mi-Fi stopped working or whatever must have stopped you from accessing the internet on your computer and you really need a solution.

You have come to the right place as we will provide you with 3 different ways to connect your phone with your computer successfully. You can browse on your computer using your smartphone internet using any of the 3 ways below:

1. Wi-Fi Hotspot:

You can connect your smartphone’s internet to your computer using your Wi-Fi Hotspot by following the steps below:

Open the Settings app on your phone;

Select the Network & Internet option;

Select Hotspot & tethering;

Tap on Wi-Fi hotspot;

The page also has options for turning on and off the hotspot feature, you can also change the network name, security type, password, and more;

After all the settings you can access your phone Wi-Fi hotspot.

If you are still unable to connect to your computer after following the steps above, it might be as a result of a fault in your computer Wi-Fi or your smartphone. But do not worry, there are other methods you can try, just keep reading.

2. USB tethering:

You can also try connecting your smartphone’s internet to your computer using the USB tethering, by following the steps below:

Connect your phone to your Computer using a USB connector;

Open the Settings apps on your phone;

Select the Network & Internet option;

Select Hotspot & tethering;

Tap on USB tethering to switch it on;

After all the setting you can now surf easily on your computer.

If you are still unable to connect your phone to your computer using this method, it might be as a result of a fault with the USB connector, so try using a different USB connector or your computer does not allow USB connection. Do not panic you can still try the last method provided below.

2. USB tethering:

You can also try connecting your smartphone’s internet to your computer using Bluetooth tethering which is the last option of connecting your phone to your computer, by follow the steps below effectively:

Switch on your phone Bluetooth to pair with your computer;

Open the Settings apps on your phone;

Select the Network & Internet option;

Select Hotspot & tethering;

Tap on Bluetooth tethering to switch it on;

Right click on your Computer Bluetooth Icon, and click on “Join a Personal Area Network”, it will display a page as shown in the image below.

Right click on your Bluetooth name to display the menu options;

Then move your cursor to the “connect using>>Access point” and click on it, as shown in the image below;

If you do all the settings appropriately, you can now browse on your computer without stress.
